Gustavo Kiefer is the Director of Geology at Ore Investments and leads geological assessments in the selection and ranking of mining opportunities and provides technical support for due diligence analysis. He works alongside the technical and operational teams of portfolio companies, contributing field experience and technical insight to mineral prospecting.
With proven experience in mineral exploration, he led the discovery and development of the Autazes potash deposit (Potássio do Brasil), actively participating through the project’s advanced technical and economic feasibility studies. He has also worked on mineral exploration projects for iron ore, base metals, potassium, phosphate, graphite, lithium, and other minerals, for companies such as Vale, Castillian Resources (F&M Group, Brazil & Argentina), Forbes & Manhattan, Águia Resources, Potássio do Brasil, and Leme Engenharia (GDF Suez).
Gustavo holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from UFMG (Federal University of Minas Gerais) and a master’s degree in Regional Geology from the same institution. He is a Qualified Person registered with the CBRR (Brazilian Regional Development Bank). Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
