Daniel Corrêa is Director of Environment & Social at Ore Investments, where he leads environmental due diligence, licensing strategy, and social impact assessments across all investment activities. With a practical and field-oriented approach to ESG, Daniel also advises Ore’s portfolio companies and participates in ESG committees, ensuring that environmental compliance and community engagement best standards are deeply integrated into operational execution.
Daniel has a long experience in socio-environmental studies and licensing in Brazil, primarily within the mining sector, and also in energy and infrastructure. Before joining Ore, he served as Technical Manager and Area Lead at WSP and Golder Associates, where he led environmental studies, mine closure planning, and due diligence processes for major projects. His client portfolio includes Anglo American, AngloGold, Vale, Kinross, Gerdau, InterCement, MRN, Usiminas, Votorantim, Arena MRV, and others.
He holds a B.Sc. in Geography, a M.Sc. in Environmental Analysis and a postgraduate specialization in Water and Environmental Resources from UFMG, and is registered with CREA-MG. Daniel is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English and is widely recognized for his applied technical expertise, regulatory acumen, and long-standing leadership in the Brazilian environmental consulting sector.
