Mr. Joe Milbourne is a Senior Advisor at Ore Investments, with over 30 years of experience in metallurgy, mineral processing, and technical project evaluation across Central and South America. He serves as a senior advisor to Ore’s technical and investment teams on matters related to flow sheet assessment, plant optimization, metallurgical auditing, and process review.
Joe has held leadership roles at Sulliden Gold, Belo Sun Mining, and Troilus as Vice President of Operations and Technical Services, and served as Technical Director at AMEC Mining & Metals, overseeing process engineering. He has also worked with global mining companies such as BHP, Eldorado Gold, and Cominco. Joe holds a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a Master’s in Metallurgy from the University of Utah. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and a registered member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME).
